Hi, my name is Jennifer Mettner and as a Civil Marriage Celebrant living in Melbourne, I have the best and most rewarding job in the world!! It is an honour for me to work with you to create the Wedding Ceremony or Theme Wedding of your dreams. I also conduct Vow Renewals, Civil Partnership/Commitment Ceremonies, Funerals, Memorial Services, Scattering of Ashes, Pet Funerals and many other Life Celebrations. How I became a Wedding Celebrant….
After spending 15 years within the Human Resources field managing a busy recruitment agency – and the last few years fulfilling my passion of acting within Melbourne theatre groups – Celebrant work seemed a natural progression for me. To conduct a successful and stress-free Marriage Ceremony your Civil Celebrant needs to be confident in front of an audience and have the ability to engage not just the wedding couple but the entire audience – whether that be a small intimate group of 6 people or 600!! I can relate to people from all walks of life and take pride in my work as a Civil Marriage Celebrant - this is reflected in my attention to detail, professionalism, sense of humour and easy going personality.
